Secretary
I'd had friends rant to me about this movie and never really got a chance to see it until last night. It was interesting to see such a strong movie.

Maggie Gyllenhaal was delightful, going from the unsure, recently discharged mental patient to the strong, confident and thoroughly submissive character at the end. It even covers the whole "who's in charge" issues that people outside the BDSM scene often don't even know exists. She may be the submissive, but watch those end scenes and tell me who's REALLY in charge.

James Spader is clearly having fun as a very confused man, trying to come to grips with urges he really doesn't understand.

Jeremy Davies does a good job as the confused boyfriend. He does, however, look like the long lost brother of Corey Feldman

Other things I enjoyed were the shrine-like office corridor leading to the office of spanking goodness, complete with Fetishes down the walls and all the framed letters. The illuminated permanent sign out the front proclaiming "Secretary Wanted" was also cool.
