New Games
Sez and I finally went out and purchased smoe more games for the GameCube.
Pikmin: Haven't played this one, but Sez and KP have been hammering it pretty hard. Seems to be a terminally cute Real Time Strategy game with resource management and puzzle solving built in. It's really, really cute. Like Yoshi's Story cute. Things die and leave little sad transparent ghosts. When your little Pikmin get eaten you feel guilty. Kris declared that he wasn't going to play it at all. Now he is a good quarter of the way through.
Super Mario Sunshine Now THIS was the one I was hanging out for. It's a sequel to Mario 64 and like the game before it, feels more like a world than a game. I have so far only got about 12 shines so there is plenty of meat on the bones of this game. AGain, cute beyond words, but also comfortably familiar. I had most of the Mario 64 signature moves down in no time at all. The addition of FLUDD was nice as well, and the graphics are beyond amazing!
