Whatcha reading?

So what are people reading these days? I find myself (as usual) trying to read three things at once. I have "The Third Reich: A New History" that I am battling through and finding both worthwhile and disturbing. As opposed to "Rise and Fall of the Third Reich", this book is a lot more interested in Why, not How. I am also reading random bits from "The Tough Guide to Fantasy Land" by DWJ. This book killed off much of fantasy for me. It's a really good dig at the memes and tropes of the bog standard Fantasy in Three Parts formula. I am also looking at another DWJ book, "Cart and Cwidder". Will probably start that tomorrow tho.

Todays Thought: My approach to reading is that I like to read something "Old and comfortable", something "new and comfortable" and something "new and hard". Thus I'll read a new Pratchett, and old Harrisson and a non fiction work, all at the same time. Seems to work.
