Cat Modding the House
No it isn't a spelling mistake. (Hey Blogspot! How about a spellchecker for this!) I have cut one internal cat door in the house and this friday I'll cut another two.
As our cats aren't allowed outside at night, they tend to roam the house. Unfortunately this means they get stuck behind various doorways as we close and open various doors in response to varying weather conditions.

A while ago in an attempt to stop the smell from the laundry (where their kitty litter is) permeating the rest of the house, I cut a cat door in the laundry door. The cats loved it. After much discussion with Sarah, we have decided to cut one in the bedroom door and one in the kitchen door. That way they can get to pretty much the main areas they are allowed into with impunity.

Ah cats. My love/hate relationship with you continues.
