Wahoo. Stage one of our big holiday plans are now complete. I am sitting in a cyber-cafe on Oxford Street in Sydney, editing my blog and trying to read my e-mail (bloody iiCrap).
Flying Virgin redefined "Cattle Class". I had to tuck my arm into my shirt so that it didn't flail and hit fellow passengers. Bah!
There was cloud cover for most of the journey but did get to see some landscape. Saw some strange farms made up of massive circles. (Musta been a kilometer diameter, and there were dozens of them) No idea what they grew. Looked like some sort of giant green crop circles from where we were.
Caught a train from the airport. Grant, Perth Public Transport may be crap, but it is cheap. It was $11.00 EACH to travel the equivelant of Gosnells to Perth. It was worth it to ride on a double decker train tho. Whoda thunk such a beastie exists!
We made our way to the Hotel only to discover we'd been bumped up a grade (cos they'd finished working on it only a few days before. we now have a suite rather than a room! W00t!
It has been cruisy so far... No dramas (Other than hitting turbulence just before I went to go to the loo. Ended having to ignore the "fasten seatbelts" sign. Otherwise It'd have had to been an "Ignore the yellow stream" sign)
We have only been here 8 hours and we have already broken the $500 mark. Mind you, we have a Vollers Corset, a new handbag and a seriously sexy mask.
Bring it on!
