Toooys!
I can die happy now. It appears that someone has made little statuettes of DR and Quinch from 2000 AD. The work of the twisted mind of Alan Moore with exquisite art by Alan Davis, this comic was a great read. The two figurines are both from the FIRST appearance of DR & Quinch, "DR and Quinch have fun on Earth". Quinch is holding up a tentacled blob of proto life and clasps a beer can in his other hand. DR (It stands for Diminished Responsibility), meanwhile is using a reavy calibre ordinance on the proto sludge in an attempt to promote evolution through radiation.
The whole episode (Part of Alan Moore's critically acclaimed "Time Twisters" series) illustrates why uni students shouldn't be allowed access to
- Unlimited Beer
- Nuclear Weapons and
- Time Machines
Todays Thought: Another great Alan Moore comic is "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen". Going to see the hatchet job done by hollywood on it on Thursday.
